Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS)

Royal Bank of Scotland

Sydney, Australia

A refreshed and reconfigured space to meet business objectives.

Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has been operating in Australia since 1999. RBS offer a broad range of products and services to help major corporations, financial institutions and governments achieve their global financing, transaction services and risk management objectives. RBS is an award winning organisation that prides itself on creative thinking to achieve outstanding outcomes for their clients.

FutureSpace worked with project managers Jones Lang LaSalle to deliver a sustainable design solution for RBS’s existing Aurora Place, Sydney premises. The scope involved taking the 12,000m2 occupied premises and reducing it to 5,000m2. The reduced fitout is occupied by both RBS and CIMB Bank of Malaysia as separate tenants with the remainder prepared for the make good which was handed back to the building owner.

The new RBS premises (2,500m2) is now spread over two floors. RBS’ refresh and reconfiguration included all workspace areas, staff meeting facilities and a new reception area. The FutureSpace scope also included furniture audits of all floors and a close collaboration with construction stage planning and change management consultant, MoveCorp to ensure the process was handled as efficiently and effectively as possible without disrupting normal business operations.
