The rebrand of buildcorp's identity and website meant that the physical environment also needed an overhaul
—
futurespace worked closely with Buildcorp on the upgrade and refurbishment of their own building in Camperdown, NSW. The work carried out was part of a staged refurbishment of Buildcorp’s headquarters whilst they remained in occupation and also included new offices for Sydney University’s NHMRC Clinical Trial Centre.
Located in a former warehouse, the existing premises had some unique characteristics that were revealed during the fitout process. Stripping away unsympathetic previous construction works meant that building’s true character and attributes became a feature. On the top 2 floors a new open stair was installed to facilitate communication and collaboration for the team. Embracing best workplace practices also meant that an open and flexible working environment was created. There is abundant natural light and a strong focus on environmental performance.
Coinciding with the new workplace was Buildcorp’s transition to a new website and corporate identity and futurespace was able to collaborate with the graphic designer to ensure our respective designs were aligned. This project was a great success for Buildcorp and reinforced their growth into a leading building and construction group since its inception in 1990.
