Sumitomo is a Japanese integrated trading company with global offices across 65 countries. futurespace was engaged by the client to design the new premises for the Sydney corporate office in the prestigious Grosvenor Place.
FutureSpace designed a harmonious interior with elegantly minimal design within a traditional context. Japanese and Australian cultures are subtly combined through controlled design elements and the selection of materials, furniture, finishes and colour. A sophisticated natural materials and colour palette of subtle, neutral tones are complemented by rich orange and blonde timber blade detailing.
