Clydesdale Place

Located in a quite cul de sac just off the Pacific Highway, the development, comprising of 34 units over 8 levels, enjoys extensive views over the Pymble area and the Cumberland Plain to the South.

futurespace initially carried out a feasibility study for 7 blocks of land situated in Clydesdale Place, Pymble. Subsequently, Glenside Group on sold half of the site and proceeded with a development application for the remaining 3 blocks of land.

Environmental considerations were paramount within the initial design. Every aspect of the project was considered with respect to the principles of ecologically sustainable development (ESD) under the guidance of respected expert Michael Mobbs. Foremost was the idea of maintaining high levels of solar access and cross ventilation within the apartments with other environmental features in the development including: performance glazing, an oversized rainwater collection tank, green power provision to common areas, care share scheme for the development and an organic edible garden to be enjoyed by the residents.

The development is currently under construction, due for completion September 2009.
