At the recent annual Stylecraft ‘design a ginger’ event, the one and only Adriano Zumbo gave futurespace’s eco-friendly gingerbread house the big thumbs up with a runner-up award.
‘GECA Certified’ was a deceptively simple looking entry, yet it involved a lot of careful coconut colouring balanced with precision icing to obtain correct grassy coverage ratios.
Sampling of ingredients was required throughout the process as a quality control measure and the prize (a bottle of Moet) will remain on ice at futurespace HQ as team members recover from the ensuing sugar overload.
