The futurespace team are as guilty as any other busy office when it comes to the regular guzzling of take-away coffees. So we like the idea of getting our caffeine hit with a slight reduction of eco-guilt. Peter Herman’s ‘Compleat’ coffee cup is a very neat answer to eliminating the need for plastic lids by using integrated folding flaps. It’s a prototype at this stage, so the cost implications are still unknown. However the PR benefits and extra brandable surfaces (not to mention the positive environmental impact) will be a great incentive for coffee retailers to embrace this new product.
Obviously it’s just for the days you leave your ‘KeepCup’ at home. See www.thecompleat.com and www.keepcup.com for more info.
